What is Trauma-Informed Care Consulting?

With Origins, organizations have a partner in developing practical solutions for stress management, communication barriers, and team-building skills. Our approach consists of guiding organizations through a process to build a culture rooted in connection and wellness.
We know that each organization and community has unique strengths and struggles. Starting with a free consultation call, we work with prospective clients to design a custom package designed to meet the needs of all levels of the organization, including leadership and staff in all roles.
While every training plan is unique, each project starts with establishing a common language for understanding how stress is triggered and its impact using a trauma-informed framework. From there, we develop workshops for leadership, all staff, and specific departments or roles that support the translation of these concepts into operation to solve problems such as:

Working with Origins starts with a free 30-minute consultation call where we will learn about your organization, explore the goals you hope to achieve, and identify an action plan to fit your budget. You will then receive a customized proposal that will include options for training workshops and consultation suggestions that we will review with you and your team. Services can generally start within a month depending on availability. Ongoing consultation throughout the training process will be included to support the sustainable integration of the approach. Your personalized training plan may also include ongoing check-ins via video or in-person, group coaching, and implementation support.

Andi Fetzner PsyD
Andi Fetzner is a co-founder of Origins Training & Consulting. Her training mantra is, “You don’t have to be a therapist to be therapeutic.” Drawing from her personal and professional background, Andi uses real life examples to explain how this approach can be applied across sectors. She lives in California with her two dogs, Brutus & Princess.
Lori Chelius MBA, MPH
Lori Chelius, MBA/MPH is a co-founder of Origins Training & Consulting. Andi and Lori work with organizations across a number of sectors to build strong foundations based on solid values, build resilience, and provide even better care for the people they serve. Lori lives in California with her wife, three kids, and their dog, Oliver.
